Runnin Gas Root
AboutUs.org came to my attention today while listening to the FLOSS Weekly podcast. It sounds like it scrapes web sites and grabs their "about" page to create an entry for the site. You can then edit their page, since it's a Wiki, and add or correct information.
Naturally I looked up my site and found that it's listed as RunninGasRoot.com. I tried to correct the camel case only to find that I couldn't find a way to do it. So, maybe I'll just find a way to change the subject matter of this blog to be something more in keeping with this new Runnin' Gas Root name. I'm open to suggestions for what I should be writing about. Anyway, if you get a chance, check your site on AbOutUs.org.

Yes, we have a funny bot that does the initial page. So much so that we have created a category for those fun times: AboutUsBotGoneBad.
I changed the name, something a logged in account can do. A pleasure to see your humor on the subject! Best, Mark

itta looka like dey fix it. you i think you should officially change yours to RunninGasRoot, the premier website for smuggling marijuana (which is colloquially referred to as Gas Root).

The "move page" feature is how you "fix name", as we call it. Unfortunately, this feature is only working for admins right now. It's not supposed to be that way. I have no idea what's wrong. In any event, the page for your site is now in the "AboutUsBot Gone Bad" category

Oof. I almost lost all the comments from the AboutUs.com guys. Akismet flagged them all as spam. I usually don't manually review the Akismet queue but was doing so today since I updated WordPress. Sorry about the late approval there, guys.
